III. Instruments

U-PAD is a miniature external measuring unit

designed for acquisition of data from any chro-

matograph for the CSW32 station.

U-PAD uses the USB communication channel

and thus is directly powered from the PC.

The unit can be connected or disconnected any-

time without the necessity of disconnecting the

computer.

The unit contains two independent channels with the latest

24-bit A/D converters capable of higher eective resolution es-

pecially at higher frequencies and at lower voltage ranges. The

input connector is compatible with the internal INT7 board.
